No. It only reports whether relevant changes were found in the available journal since the confirmed checkpoint. verify checks whether the forward Robocopy run would still copy anything; target extras are allowed.
Welche Robocopy-Grenzen bildet verify ab?Which Robocopy rules does verify model?
Dateien: Typ, Größe, relevante Attribute und Zeit mit /FFT und /DST. Verzeichniszeiten werden wegen /DCOPY:DA ignoriert. Weil der reale Auftrag Analysepunkten folgt, FolderChangeCheck aber den Quellbaum nicht verlässt, werden Analysepunkte sicherheitshalber immer als kopierrelevant gemeldet. Inhalte, alternative Datenströme, ACL, Sparse- und Hardlink-Struktur werden nicht verglichen.
Files: type, size, relevant attributes and time using /FFT and /DST. Directory times are ignored for /DCOPY:DA. Because the real job follows reparse points while FolderChangeCheck does not leave the source tree, reparse points are always reported as copy-relevant. Contents, alternate streams, ACLs, sparse layout and hard-link structure are not compared.

Nein. Es liest Quelle und Ziel. Nur die eigene Prüfstandsdatei und optionale Berichtsdatei werden geschrieben.
