A focused companion for Tycho Known Objects.

Known Object Ranges turns the Motion, PA, and magnitude values already available in a Tycho Known Objects list into explicit cumulative search boundaries.

What the program does

Reads

CSV data containing Speed, PA, and Mag columns, or a plate-solved FITS folder through a separate Tycho mode-18 process.

Calculates

Real and expanded Motion and circular PA ranges, including 360/0-degree crossings.

Exports

JSON, TXT, CSV, XML, ODS, XLS, clipboard data, and a self-contained local HTML report.

Requirements and scope

The application targets 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. Tycho is required only when a folder has FITS images but no Known Objects CSV. Tycho Tracker is a separate product; this utility does not replace it.

No licence key is required for version 1.4.1. The application has no advertising or analytics component.
