This table lists exposures for which NINA reports a saved image file. Hover over the time to see the complete log timestamp. The image type (LIGHT, BIAS, FLAT, DARK) is read first from the log rows immediately before, at and after the saved exposure and from the image path. If no type is present there and the FITS file exists locally, NINALogs reads the FITS header once. Exposure, filter, gain, offset and bin are taken from the preceding Starting Exposure line; width and height come from the nearest Processed Image line when NINA provides those values.
NINALogs keeps the local SQLite file nina_fits_header_cache.sqlite. The fits_header_cache table stores image data that was only available in the FITS header, including image type, filter, exposure, gain, offset, binning, width and height. The image_metadata_cache table stores the combined image data from the log and FITS header together with image path, log file and log line. Preview path and preview status are part of the same cache so FITS previews can later be generated once and then reused from the cache.
FITS previews are not calculated while opening the static HTML page. NINALogs can create them on demand from the program/CLI as JPEG with longest side 400 px and quality 80, store them in the output folder under previews and remember the path in the SQLite database.
