The setup is the normal Windows install path. The portable ZIP is available if Windows treats the setup download aggressively. The standalone EXE remains available for direct launch.
The app can run an online update check from Help or the tray menu, verify size and SHA256, and start the installer on request. After 60 days from the first detected update it shows only the installation notice until updated.
Windows note
The EXE and setup are signed for AmrumSoftware through Azure Artifact Signing, and Windows validates the embedded signatures. SmartScreen may still warn briefly for a newly published version while its download reputation is being established.
