URLtoFile 2.2.1 · Windows CLI

Help

From the first command to reliable automation.

Quick start

  1. Install the setup and keep optional PATH integration enabled.
  2. Open a new Command Prompt or PowerShell window.
  3. Run urltofile URL FILE.
urltofile https://example.org/ page.html
urltofile --head https://example.org/ headers.txt

Files, errors, and updates

The default output is urltofile.out. Existing files are preserved unless --force is used. Normal status goes to stdout; errors go to stderr. Update checks run at most once per calendar day, and network failure alone never starts the 90-day grace period.
