Use the laptops you already own
Choose which existing Windows laptops have enough capacity for your data collectors. Compare CPU performance, real memory headroom and five-year electricity costs.
Automatic tool setup on launch
The application downloads missing tools and updates older versions of Tailscale, RustDesk, TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Festplattenwarner, MPC Status Network and ChatGPT. Third-party installers are downloaded from original sources through WinGet/Microsoft Store; they are not hosted here. Windows may request administrator approval.
What is measured?
Hardware inventory, CPU test, optional write test and observation while your own collectors run. Enter the average power measured at the wall socket. Five-year cost uses continuous operation at €0.40/kWh. No combined suitability score is invented.
Windows 10/11, 64-bit. No Python installation required. Internet is needed for tool setup. Account sign-in and remote-access permissions remain your own steps. Paid subscriptions are not purchased automatically.
