The setup package is the recommended option for normal Windows use. It installs without a console window and writes Start Menu entries in the selected setup language.

Workflow
MPC data
NEOCP and PCCP are fetched regularly. New, removed and changed objects are kept in the live state.
Find_Orb
Residuals and apparent motion are calculated with Find_Orb when available. Simulated fallback values are visibly marked.
Target planning
The app ranks targets by residual, field crossing time, brightness, motion, dropout score and usable field share.
FITS import
FITS headers provide plate scale, binning, focal length, field size and limiting-magnitude hints.
Requirements
ASCOM, camera and mount drivers, Tycho, Find_Orb and optional plate solvers are detected locally. Tycho requires a valid license. The app can open third-party download pages, but it does not install them without user action.
Local Data
Configuration, live state and logs are stored under %APPDATA%\NEOCPMachine; cache files are stored under E:\codex\NEOCPMachine\cache.
