Hosting and downloads

STRATO (strato.de) processes technical server data when you browse or download: IP address, date/time, requested file, transfer size, referrer, browser and operating system. Purposes are delivery, security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). The specified hosting baseline anonymizes IP addresses and retains server logs for 60 days.

Local application data

Folder paths, task IDs, selection, answers, run state, reports and logs are stored locally in the working folder described in Help. This website does not receive audit reports. After closing the application you may remove unneeded reports or working data locally, losing resume information. A random installation identifier is stored locally and mirrored in the user-specific Windows registry. Removing a data folder does not reset that identifier.

Codex queries

A query run you start sends requests through your signed-in Codex account. Task identifiers, relevant folder paths and the prompt are passed to OpenAI's Codex infrastructure, where existing task history is processed. Answers are saved locally. Mapping alone sends no audit prompt. Your OpenAI agreement and privacy terms also govern usage and potential international transfers. The requested feature is processed under GDPR Article 6(1)(b).

Updates

Version 2.1.1 has no published automatic update channel and sends no installation ID to this website through such a channel. Version checks and downloads are currently manual.

Contact

Email or postal enquiries are processed to handle your request under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) or (f). Default retention is 60 days unless ongoing matters or legal duties require longer retention. Reports may contain personal information: share only what is necessary.

Browser storage, analytics and recipients

No analytics, advertising, tracking services or cookies are used. Navigation state is stored only in local browser storage and can be removed through browser settings. STRATO receives technical web data; OpenAI is involved in task queries you initiate. No external fonts or scripts are loaded.

Your rights
