Amrum Software / Platzprüfer 2.1.1
From folders to readable assessments.
The mapping assistant helps you get started. New users receive no personal task IDs or answers from another installation.
Getting started
- Install Codex locally and sign in. Start Platzprüfer.
- Open the mapping assistant and select the parent working folder. Only immediate subfolders are added; links are skipped.
- Review proposals. Exact working-directory matches take priority over normalized title matches. Confirm unique proposals; existing IDs are never overwritten automatically.
- Search and assign a task manually when necessary. Archived tasks are labelled.
- Save to apply changes with a backup, or cancel to discard edits.
- Select tasks and start querying. Do not work in those tasks concurrently.
No matching task?
Create a new local Codex chat in the ChatGPT/Codex app. Set the full folder path as its working directory (Workdir). We recommend using the folder name as the chat title. Return to the assistant, reload the catalogue, assign the task and save. Cloud-only chats without a local Workdir are not part of this local catalogue.
Waiting and resuming
No next query is sent while an answer is running. Dispatch starts are at least ten minutes apart, including across restarts. Pause stops this application's own sequence. Refresh answers before resuming. Uncertain delivery is not retried automatically; inspect the task history manually.
Reports and storage
The sortable local report opens in your default browser and supports CSV export. GB means 1,000,000,000 bytes; the scanner uses GiB. Shared hardlinks prevent safe summation across folders.
Without a source checkout, data is stored under %LOCALAPPDATA%\AmrumSoftware\Platzpruefer\Work: data for mappings, reports for reports and Internal/chat-runs for saved runs. Development installations use the project folder. Do not remove lock files or run history without understanding their purpose.
